About Ryan Apple

Ryan Apple lives in Lansing, Michigan, with his wife Darcie and their six children. He is employed as a music professor at Great Lakes Christian College. An avid guitarist, he has recorded an album featuring works from the 1300s through the present day, available for download on iTunes and as compact disc through the Contact page.

Ryan’s poetry has been published or is forthcoming in a number of journals, including Acorn, Time of Singing, Poems for Ephesians, and Portage Magazine, as well as in the Poiema Poetry anthologies Adam, Eve, and the Riders of the Apocalypse and In a Strange Land: Introducing Ten Kingdom Poets.

Ryan enjoys sharing life with his local church family, competitive ping-pong, playing guitar and mbira, and video games with two or less buttons.

Ryan, Darcie, Dorian, Elliana, Micah, Annissa, and Asher. Our daughter Selah (4/11/15) is represented by the bunny, whom we named Hope.
